Production Process

The production process of a metal chair:

1. Raw Material Preparation

2. Cutting and Blanking

The purchased steel plates are cut using a shearing machine, laser cutting machine, or punch press to obtain blanks for various chair components, such as the seat, backrest, legs, and connectors.

3.Stamping/Bending

The cut components, especially the seat and backrest, need to be stamped on a large punch press using stamping dies to achieve the preset curvature, concavity, or convexity to conform to ergonomics and aesthetic design.

4. Welding

Workers welding the metal chair during welding, it is essential to ensure that the weld points are strong, aesthetically pleasing, and dimensionally accurate to avoid deformation.

5. Grinding and Polishing

After welding, the weld points need to be ground to remove weld slag and burrs, resulting in a smooth surface.

6. Powder Coating

This is the most common surface treatment method. Epoxy resin powder (or paint) is evenly sprayed onto the chair surface using electrostatic adsorption, then baked in a high-temperature curing oven to melt, level, and solidify the powder, forming a strong, wear-resistant, and brightly colored coating.

7. Quality Inspection

Completed chairs undergo a comprehensive quality inspection, and strict quality control is required at every step to ensure the quality and performance of the final product.

8. Packaging

Metal chairs that pass inspection are cleaned and then packaged with protective materials (such as bubble wrap, cardboard, plastic bags, etc.) to prevent damage during transportation.
